Changing phones
How to bring your progress to a new device today, and what will change once you can save it to an account.
Today your progress lives only on the device, so when you change phones it comes along only through the system backup.
- iPhone to iPhone: if you restore the new iPhone from an iCloud or computer backup that includes Efatah, your progress usually comes along.
- Android to Android: if Google backup is on and you restore the new phone from it, Efatah’s progress usually comes along.
- Between iPhone and Android: not possible today.
Audio and images are never in the backup; the app downloads what it needs again. Check that your progress appears on the new phone before you erase the old one.
Coming next
Soon you will be able to save your progress with Apple or Google, and simply sign in on the new phone, whatever its system.
