What stays on your device
For the next few days, Chosen by you, Temporary and Your files. What each part of the Downloads screen means.
Settings › Downloads splits what Efatah keeps into parts, each with a clear rule.
- Your progress: what you studied, word levels, streak and rewards. A few kilobytes. No button on this screen deletes your progress.
- Course text: the text of every lesson in your courses, about 2 MB per course, so the trail and Library open offline.
- For the next few days: audio and images for roughly three days of study: the current section, the next one, words due for review and the devotional for today and the next three days. It updates itself as you move on; what falls behind moves to Temporary.
- Chosen by you: whole chapters you asked to keep offline. They stay until you remove them.
- Temporary: everything else you have already seen. Up to 200 MB; the oldest unused items go first, starting with courses that are not active. Clear now empties it at once.
- Your files: PDFs you downloaded to print. They stay until you delete them and do not count toward the Temporary limit.
Without internet
With what is kept for the next few days, you can study for about three days offline. If an image or clip is missing, the lesson goes on: the device voice speaks instead and the image shows a placeholder.
