Why Efatah takes so little space

The app keeps only what you will use in the next few days and cleans up the rest on its own. Your progress takes almost nothing.

We make sure Efatah takes little of your phone. You do not need to uninstall it to free up space.

Only what you will use

The app keeps what you will study in roughly the next three days: the current section, the next one, words due for review and the next days’ devotional. Usually that is between 6 and 13 MB. Everything else downloads when needed and sits in a Temporary space the app cleans by itself.

What weighs the most

Almost all of it is natural-voice audio. A whole course’s text is about 2 MB, and your progress is a few kilobytes.

Where to see it

Settings › Downloads shows how much Efatah takes on your device, with an everyday comparison such as “less than 10 photos taken with your phone”. The app itself, as installed from the store, is not part of that number. See what stays on your device.
