This feature is not available in the app yet. This article explains how it will work and will be updated at launch.
A test so people who already know some of the language can start at the right point on the trail, section by section.
Today you choose your level when you create a course (see your starting point). Soon, anyone who says they already know the language will be able to prove it.
How it will work
- Beginners start at the first section, with no test.
- Intermediate or advanced learners take the test. Your answer only sets where the test starts.
- The test moves through blocks of sections and stops at the first block you do not pass. You start the trail from there.
- The pass mark is 70% per block, a little lighter than the advance test.
- The more you know, the longer the test, because the decision is bigger.
What the result does
Sections you prove become Validated by test: open and resolved on the trail, without giving levels to their words or adding words to your reviews.
