Section states and "Validated by test" Coming soon
This feature is not available in the app yet. This article explains how it will work and will be updated at launch.
Completed, Validated by test, Empty and Locked. What each section state means and why "Validated by test" is not "Consolidated".
Each section of the trail will show a state, so you know where your progress comes from.
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Completed | You did the section’s lessons. |
| Validated by test | You passed the advance test or the placement test for that stretch. It counts as resolved on the trail. |
| Empty | You skipped the section without the test. Its lessons are still there for you. |
| Locked | It opens when you finish most of the previous section (about 80% of its lessons), or when you use Skip here. |
“Validated by test” is not “Consolidated”
- Consolidated is a word level, earned by practising the word in the app until you remember it on your own and get it right in a review.
- Validated by test is a section state. It says you know enough to move on, but it gives no level to the section’s words, earns no rewards and does not add those words to your reviews.
That way the app never says you practised something you did not. You can always go back and do the lessons of a validated section; each one counts as usual.
