A card is not recognized

What to do when the scanner does not recognize a physical card.

1. Check camera permission in your device settings (Efatah › Camera).
2. Improve the light. Avoid glare and shadows on the card; in the dark, use the scanner’s flash button.
3. Adjust the distance until the code is sharp.
4. Try the other side. The app reads the QR on the back and the code on the front.
5. Check your connection if it is a section you have not opened yet: the app may need to download it first.

QR codes printed in the lesson notebooks are for your phone’s regular camera, not the in-app scanner. For home-printed cards, print at 100% scale so the code is not too small (see print the cards).

If nothing works, report a problem and send a photo of the card.
